Voice of the Sacred

lets translate the sacred language of the stars

Full Moons represent a very potent period for introspection and releasing the old energy.

The energy of the Sun (consciousness) fully illuminates the Moon (unconscious mind), allowing us to understand our shadows + karmic structures. We can actively work with this energy by recognising the patterns which are no longer needed and physically letting.go of a symbol for that pattern.

This Full Moon feels heavier than the previous ones.

Lilith is in Virgo, the Moon is in opposition with Saturn and Mercury.

I can feel the collective push towards an imaginary level of perfection that can never be achieved.

Towards an imaginary level of being healed, being clean, being only love and light.

I’ve seen so many spiritual people around me beating themselves up for being human, telling themselves “ah, I have so much inner work to do, so many wounds to heal!”. Going in a never ending spiral of healing, uncovering more “dirt”, healing again and again, until they are so exhausted, they feel forever doomed.

And I just want to scream

“you are not a damn kitchen cabinet”

You’re a living breathing organism!

You’re full of life, infinite life, you hold inside everything that exists, both good and bad, clean and dirty, perfect and imperfect.

The only thing we need to “purify” is the tension we feel towards ourselves.

The only thing that needs to be “fixed” is our resistance to see how lovable we are right now.

The mission of the Virgo archetype is to observe and analyze any blockage/illness, then deliver the medicine that is needed for its healing.

While Virgo has a noble intention, it can often go into the extreme of trying to find perfection, to clean every single spot of “dirt” and have no room for any sort of criticism.

This is where it loses its initial quest, for it has never been about lacking “dirt”, but about harmony. Nature is perfectly balanced and very dirty at the same time.

Lilith, the Moon’s blind spot, has been in Virgo since October 2023. This shows a collective confrontation with the shadow of Virgo, which is the obsession to become perfect, or completely healed.

The “love and light“ mentality has pushed us to judge and hurry to fix any part of us that isn‘t pretty or loving. Take a moment to see how this has affected your life recently.

Where did you step back because you don‘t meet your perfect expectations?
Where do you love yourself less because you don‘t think you are clean enough?

This was such a beautiful cycle and such an appreciated post and perspective. My pottery teacher dubbed me a "recovering perfectionist" after having a conversation of being able to play with the clay and not force my expectations on it.

At the new moon, I set on a journey to bring a spark back to my child-like creativity, and I came out the other side appreciating the imperfect and dark side of my soul. There is an inner transformation that I feel is happening, and she is a force. I will post more about it in the Dark Houses .

Maybe it's my aetherical Aries moon in my 7th house, but this moon cycle has felt physically heavy for me.…
