Thank you for this post Diana! I am curious what would it mean if a combusted planet is also in retrograde?

There's no specific unique meaning to the combination.

Retrograde planets stop running forward, and focus inside themselves instead, and combusted planets are too close to our center to see them/understand what they're doing. It might be a lot harder to deal with a planet that is both Rx and combusted, because in two ways it needs a different approach than what is "normal", but it can also show up with lots of pleasant surprises when it has the space to "be different" 😊

Do the transpersonal planets also receive energy from the luminaries? I have Sun in 21 Aries and Uranus in 13 Capricorn and in Neptune 16 Capricorn. So the Sun is out of their 5 degree reach, but Uranus and Neptune are within the Sun's 10 degree reach. So does it mean that the Sun sees Uranus and Neptune, but Uranus and Neptune don't see the Sun, and is it then a square or not?

The excersice didn't involve mathematical points, but I saw that my North Node is in 23 Capricorn squaring my Sun, and this again makes so much sence on how I feel about my NN. 🥲 I've been a bit resentful about it, cause I feel like…

Imagine that every planet has a 5 degrees aura around them, and 10 degrees for the luminaries. Their auras can touch and that's enough for an aspect to be formed, they don't need to be inside each other's aura.


How to work with this kind of square, since the NN isn't an energy inside like the Sun? Can the pressure and tension from NN towards Sun somehow be used for the Sun to work for the NN? Paradoxically.

Yes. There are many discussions around the orbs, and many many options you can choose to work with, but the 5 degree orb is the universal one.

My son has jupiter and mars in opposition.. does it mean that knowledge/wisdom is at tug of war with desire/ambition? In this life he has to learn to balance both energies.. desire without knowledge would be like an aimless pursuit and knowledge without any action would be like a book on the shelf.. balancing both will make him feel whole. But how can the balance be achieved?

Yes, exactly! His tendency will be to wither be stuck in philosophy with no action, or acting without wisdom. He needs to be guided to think before acting, to check if his actions are honest/wise, and only then to proceed. Or if he's more of a philosopher, you can guide him to be in situation where he needs to act, like in sports, to awaken his Mars.
